By car

Arriving from the west or the east (A2):

From the 'Hannover Herrenhausen' exit of the A2, take the Westschnellweg in the direction of Hanover. At the Herrenhausen exit, in the direction of `Universität`, the route continues on Herrenhäuser Straße.

From the now following Nienburger Strasse along Herrenhäuser Allee, turn left into Schneiderberg. Cross Callinstrasse and then turn left into Appelstrasse. The first entrance to the right leads to Appelstraße 4. There the vehicle can be parked in the parking lot in the inner courtyard. Another large parking lot is located directly opposite the entrance to the courtyard on the other side of Appelstrasse. The institute is located on the third floor (architecture and systems) and fourth floor (design automation) of the building at Appelstraße 4.

Arriving from the north (A7):

From the motorway triangle `Hannover Nord` via the motorway corner connection A352 to the A2 towards Dortmund. Immediately afterwards, continue from the `Hannover Herrenhausen` exit as described above.

Arriving from the south (A7):

At the Messe exit, branch off onto the A37 and drive on the subsequent Messeschnellweg to the Seelhorster Kreuz. From here you orientate yourself in the direction of Nienburg (B6) and follow the corresponding signs. In detail, this means, first drive towards the center via the Südschnellweg, when you reach the first roundabout turn right into Frankfurter Allee and continue on Ricklinger Kreisel, Friedrich Ebert Straße, Göttinger Straße, Deisterplatz (roundabout) and the Westschnellweg to the Herrenhausen exit . The path then continues, as described above, via Herrenhäuser Straße.
