The IMS-AS congratulates Simon Klein on his doctorate.

Simon Klein successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Design and ASIC Implementation of a Hardware Accelerator for Deep Neural Networks in the Field of Ultra Low Power Audio Applications” in a public lecture followed by an oral examination on November 26.

The examination board consisted of Prof. Blume, Prof. Birger Kollmeier (University of Oldenburg), and Prof. Wicht.
Afterwards, there was a warm celebration, congratulations, and the display of the doctoral cap adorned with anecdotes.
