The IMS congratulates Professor Wicht on his service on the Program Committee of the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), for which he received the prestigious Service Award in February 2026. After nine years on the committee, the last four of which he served as chair of the Power Management Subcommittee, he is now stepping down from this role as scheduled.
Often referred to as the “Chip Olympics,” the ISSCC is the world’s leading conference in the field of integrated circuits and chip design. Under Professor Wicht’s leadership, the Power Management Subcommittee grew to include 26 international experts who review more than 130 paper submissions annually.
