Fundamentals of Digital Systems

Prof. Blume

This course is offered every year during the winter term. It covers basic knowlegde of coding alphanumeric symbols and numbers, Boolean algebra as a basis of mathematical characterization of digital systems, and technical realization of basic digital functions and units.

The goal of this course is to enable the students to analyze simple combinatorial and sequential circuits and to synthesize combinatorial circuits for a given problem.

All lectures are recorded and will be available online via Stud.IP!

Exam

The final exam to the lecture "Fundamentals of Digital Systems" will take place on thursday, 09.08.2018, 12-2 p.m.  The room assignments will be available for download in Stud.IP course "Exercises: Grundlagen digitaler Systeme". Exam editing time will be 90 minutes.

Auxiliary means: one handwritten self-composed DIN A4 page with any text or formulas (double-sided). Electronic devices are not permitted.

The usage of own blank pages is permitted.

Attention: The exam results will be published using the Ergebnis-Pin from Stud.IP. Please make shure until 31st of July 2018 to be a participant of the Stud.IP course "Exercises: Übung Grundlagen digitaler Systeme". Otherwise your exam results cannot be published.
