Topic: Driver Assistance Systems
Nowadays, modern cars provide a variety of different assistance systems, which shall support the driver. The primary goal is mitigation or better avoidance of car accidents, but also the increase of comfort in the car. The complex, electrical signal processing of camera-based driver assistance systems is a research focus of the IMS.
The course will be provided in German. The following topics will be presented by the students in form of presentations:
- Menschliches Fahrverhalten
- Entwurf und Test von Fahrerassistenzsystemen
- Moderne Kfz-Sensorik (Radar, Lidar, Stereo-Kamerasystem, Ultraschall)
- ABS, ASR, ESP
- Adaptive Cruise Control
Introduction: Tuesday, 17.10.2017, at 10:00 am in room 335 at the institute. All other meeting appointments will be provided during the introduction.
This course is given in Winter Semester and primarily targets students of "Technische Informatik" in the bachelor.
