DESERVE is a project funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is the promotion and evolution of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These systems are devoted to support the driver in the safe control of the vehicle. For this purpose, the DESERVE platform is planned to be developed. This platform will be the base for future development of advanced driver assistance systems in Europe.

The Institute of Microelectronic Systems at the Leibniz Universität Hannover works in the field of algorithms and hardware architectures for digital signal processing applications with highest demands. In the DESERVE project, the focus will be on the implementation of real time hardware demonstrators for complex driver assistance systems and the derivation of quantitative cost models of basic building blocks. These cost models support the design of complex driver assistance systems by allowing exploring the design space in a very early stage of the development.

Further information concerning the DESERVE project can be found on the project website.
